Cancellation & Refund Policy
Important Notice:
Refunds will not be issued for failure to read or comply with the outlined policies.
Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of scheduling to secure your notary appointment. Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance—minus the deposit—will be due at the time of service and may be paid via invoice or secure checkout.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we may release the time slot to another client. Rescheduling is permitted only when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. If approved, no additional payment will be required for the same service type. Failure to provide timely notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit, and no refund will be issued.
Emergency Cancellations
If an emergency or unforeseen circumstance arises, please contact us immediately by phone at 804-723-1116, or support ticket, or by email at purposedwithsolutions@gmail.com. Any refund consideration due to an emergency is at the sole discretion of the owner and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Same-Day Cancellations
Refunds will not be issued for same-day cancellations. Clients may request to reschedule based on availability; approval is at the discretion of the owner.
Refund Requests
Refunds are discretionary and subject to approval. Submission of a request does not guarantee a refund. To request a refund, clients must contact us or submit a support ticket within 24 hours of the scheduled service. All submissions are date and time stamped. A detailed explanation of the issue must be provided. We will review all refund requests and respond within 1–2 business days.
No-Shows
Failure to appear for your scheduled appointment will be treated as a cancellation. The deposit will be forfeited. To reschedule, a new appointment must be booked with a new payment.
We understand emergencies can occur on either side. Should such an instance arise, we will notify you to coordinate a new appointment.
